British Gas rebrand
In early 2020, British Gas launched ‘Here to solve’. It started off as a campaign but ushered in a rebrand.
The goal of ‘Here to solve’ was to reimagine British Gas as much more than an energy supplier. It was the brand’s new way of saying, “We’re here to solve your everyday problems, so you can get on with your day.”
The concept was created by ‘The & Partnership’, but it was my job, as a client-side copywriter at British Gas, to bring ‘Here to solve’ to life.
This involved coming up with ways to adapt and evoke ‘Here to solve’ ; refreshing our tone of voice ; and writing integrated campaign, digital and app copy.
